In 1994 I graduated from
the
Academy
of
Fine Arts
(
Vilnius
,
Lithuania
).
During my studies there (in the year of 1992) I received my first offer
to illustrate a book for children. Since then I have started my official
work in the graphic design field. By now I have formatted over 50
children books.
In general I have quite a broad range of
artwork. Although I am most experienced in illustrating the books for
children, I have been also involved in drawing paintings, portraits,
characters, mural, designing books, advertises, web sites.
I use airbrushing, watercolour,
acril, tempera, pastel, oil painting, penciling, inking and working with
digital programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Nevertheless, my ultimate goal is to depict a precisely accurate picture
not dependant on the artwork means used.
