Larry Ketchum

Larry studied photography and cinema at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. After apprenticing with George "Mars" Cassidy - photographer to Illinois governor Jim Thompson, Larry worked a brief but enlightening studio position at the Playboy Studios in Chicago. He has had photography and art featured on phone books, in posters, and on greeting cards, and was a featured artist at the Arts & Flowers Art Show in Weston, Massachusetts. He won a Yachting Magazine sponsored contest to design a poster commemorating the 1987 America's Cup Yacht Races in Australia; a copy of which is on display at the Museum of Yachting in Newport, RI. He currently lives and works in Florida's panhandle, shooting an occasional freelance job as he assembles the next six months worth of photos for a "coffee table book" pictorial of panhandle beaches. A friend of Mary Lou Fischer since 1987, Larry is delighted to show his art in her virtual studio.
